Reports in recent weeks have claimed that United are in talks with Juventus over a possible swap deal involving Lukaku and Dybala, but it could well be that Mandzukic also makes the move across to Manchester.
According to Italian publication Tuttosport, the Red Devils have made a move for the Croatian and are hopeful of completing a deal in the region of £15m early next week.
After hearing the news that the veteran striker could also be heading to the club, United fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the possible move.

Many supporters of the Red Devils questioned why Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would consider bringing in a 33-year-old into the squad, particularly after claims earlier in the summer that the club would be looking to sign “exciting players”.
Others however insisted that Mandzukic’s experience and trophy-winning mentality from his time at Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Juventus could give the Red Devils a much-needed helping hand.
