da apostebet: On the whole, Leeds were largely unimpressive against Preston North End on Tuesday evening.
Marcelo Bielsa has a lot to think about after watching his side labour to a 1-1 draw with the Lancashire outfit, and one thing he has to consider is how to best utilise Mateusz Klich going forward.
Klich against Preston
With injuries to midfielders such as Adam Forshaw and Jamie Shackleton, Klich lined up alongside Stuart Dallas in the middle of the park at Deepdale.

Unsurprisingly, the Pole played in a more advanced role than Dallas as the Northern Irishman’s natural position is at the back.
Despite this, the midfielder put on a robust display, making four tackles against the Lilywhites.
This sort of performance leads you to believe that the 29-year-old is capable of playing in a deeper midfield role, and with the personnel Bielsa has at his disposal in that part of the pitch, it may not be too bad of an idea.
Drop deeper
It seems as if the midfielder could drop back into the deeper role that has been occupied by Stuart Dallas in recent weeks, and Adam Forshaw before him.

Klich’s tackling ability was there for everyone to see against Preston, and if he does drop further back it could be fruitful for the rest of the squad, not only him – particularly because of his dwindling influence in terms of attacking threat.
Over the last three matches, he’s managed an equal number of shots. In the three matches prior to that, he registered ten – according to WhoScored.
To add to that, it could be the solution to the conundrum of getting Helder Costa and Pablo Hernandez into the same XI as the Spaniard could competently play in a number ten role alongside the Poland international.
If that isn’t the way Bielsa wants to go about things he could instead reintroduce Tyler Roberts into the starting XI as he was praised last season for his performances in the midfield after the departure of Samu Saiz.
His two attempts on goal after coming off the bench at Deepdale also supports that theory.
