da apostaganha: Despite starting the 2015/16 campaign in less than assured style, and subsequently crashing out of the Champions League group-stages without putting up much of a meaningful fight, Manchester United have subtly began installing a newfound sense of optimism, with the prospect of finishing in the top-four far from off the table.
da aviator aposta: Louis van Gaal’s often heavily criticised Red Devils have successfully seen off both Manchester City and Arsenal of late, remain well placed in the latter stages of the FA Cup proceedings and could potentially seal Champions League qualification when many had previously deemed such a notion as somewhat unlikely at best not long ago.
So then, although Man United have admittedly been handed a rather unceremonious exit from the Europa League knock-out stages by arch rivals, Liverpool, this month – are they building a strong sense of momentum at just the right time in 2015/16, or are LVG’s side simply bound to come crashing back down?
Well, whilst the determined Red Devils have clearly improved out on the pitch over the past few weeks – thanks largely to the unforeseen exploits of a certain Mr. Marcus Rashford – this current outfit ultimately look far from unbeatable.

Both Sunderland and West Brom have inexplicably taken all three points off LVG’s team since the turn of the year after all, which undoubtedly takes a certain shine off the recent wins against both Man City and Arsenal. Man United have also looked distinctly unentertaining for large portions of the current campaign of course, too.
Yet as Van Gaal was nonetheless previously painted out to be a dead man walking, with his current Red Devils outfit one of the least attractive teams across the entire spectrum of the English top-flight, perhaps Man United now deserve a certain amount of credit for maintaining their place just behind the top-four, with Champions League qualification still seemingly in sight.
The Old Trafford spectators now have every reason to expect to finish above their Manchester counterparts down at the Etihad, which seemed somewhat of an unthinkable notion just a short matter of months ago. The Red Devils could also finish above Slaven Bilic’s impressive West Ham unit in the race for the top-four, for although the Hammers have certainly excelled wonderfully in recent weeks, they still arguably lack the know-how and all-round experience to make the top-four as early as this current season.
With Van Gaal’s back-line looking relatively stable at the moment, and the likes of Anthony Martial and Rashford so far maintaining a decent presence in and around the final third, Man United certainly have what it takes to end the season on a high.
As close to £250m was nonetheless spent behind the scenes at Old Trafford across the previous two summer transfer windows however, maybe Louis van Gaal has ultimately failed to impress within the grand scheme of things, regardless of whether or not Manchester United eventually seal that all-important top-four spot.
