In many ways you are getting the best of both worlds at football grounds, where not only do you get to sample the unique atmosphere of a LIVE football game, but you also have the benefit of instant replays. Who can remember the frustration of missing an incident, or a goal, just because your eyes drifted for a moment and you then had the arduous wait for MOTD in the evening to see the incident again. Instant replays have changed the landscape, so supporters are never in danger of missing a thing.
Next time you are at a match just take a look around after a goal chance or incident and you will be surprised at the amount of eyes looking upwards.
