da betsul: Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter were clearly impressed with what they saw from Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn during Dean Smith’s men’s 0-0 draw against West Ham United at Villa Park on Monday night.
The Scotland international appears to have adapted to life in the Premier League well, and of course is already well known to Spurs having scored the opening goal against them on the first day of the season.
The 24-year-old wasn’t able to add to his tally against the Irons at the beginning of this week, although he did provide an expert finish into the net during the encounter – albeit after the referee had blown his whistle for an infringement.

The Sun reported earlier in the summer that the Scot is rated at £50m by the Midlands outfit, and given the plethora of options Tottenham have in the middle of the park right now, that would be a significant outlay.
That hasn’t stopped some Spurs supporters calling for their club to sign McGinn however, while others simply praised the ability he clearly has in his locker.
