da betway: Sheffield Wednesday return to Championship action later this evening as they face a trip to Wigan Athletic.
da marjack bet: The Owls’ league form has suffered in recent weeks, losing four of their last five outings but in the FA Cup, it’s a different story as they continue to conquer whatever is thrown at them.
Premier League outfit Brighton were their first victims in the third round before they defeated division rivals Queens Park Rangers on Friday night.
But their cup exploits may have come at a severe cost as Garry Monk now faces the absence of three key midfielders ahead of tonight’s game.
Massimo Luongo is the first player expected to miss the match with the 40-year-old citing a groin issue as his problem. He said: “Massimo has a groin strain; it is not a serious one, but I would say he is unlikely to play this week.”
Monk added that the Australian should be back in training by the end of the week – he has made 21 appearances this season since joining the club in the summer.

Next on the injury list appears to be Keiran Lee, and even though the 31-year-old was back in training, he is a doubt for the match. Monk added: “Kieran had a shoulder injury from the Leeds game.”
There are also concerns over Sam Hutchinson, who hobbled off in the second half on Friday night having had his foot stamped on during the first 45 minutes.
The Owls boss said: “He said he got a stamp on the foot in the first half and felt he couldn’t quite carry on.”
This is a worrying admission over his prospects of featuring later this evening.
Who the heck is that?! Can you name all of these obscure Sheffield Wednesday players…
Wednesday could be without all three players, which means they would only be able to call upon Barry Bannan and Joey Pelupessy unless the 40-year-old is willing to trust a youth player such as Alex Hunt, who came on as a substitute against QPR.
Versatile winger Adam Reach is also able to play as a number ten, which would likely push the Scotsman into a deeper role.
And in other news, this Monk regular has given an honest assessment about his future this week…
